Nemoto Sensei har börjat bygga sin nya dojo - Nisshinkan Dojo

Nemoto Sensei has started building his own dojo the 'Nisshinkan Dojo'. The name suggests training every day and it will be used by the uchi deshi living in Aikihouse.

The new dojo is located next door to Aikihouse, between Aikihouse and Nemoto Sensei's brother's (Hisashi-san's) house.

The size of the training mat inside the dojo will be 24 tatami, ca 48 square meters and will be ideal for ca 8 uchi deshi to practice aikido. The dojo will also contain a toilette and dressing rooms with showers.

The building of the dojo has so far been supported by e.g. generous donations collected by Ute and Mark van Meerendonk, a major donation by Shigemi Nakata as well as donation by others. To all of those who already has supported by donating to the building of the new dojo we offer you all our sincere thanks for your effort.

Building a new dojo is very expensive and the construction is not currently fully funded. There is currently enough funding to construct the base of the dojo and put up a roof.

We hope that you personally or your dojo may consider a donation to help out with the cost for the building of the dojo. People, dojo's or organizations donating money to the construction of the dojo will be listed in the dojo to show that they have contributed in building it.
