No time wasted! I will be at the camp, some of it atleast. I really look forward to it (though I am very out of practise) and to living in Lund again. In a house (sort of) with a garden (sort of). Only two more days before I get the keys.See you soon!

Jajamen! I do remember you :) I'm glad you're spreading the biiru waza in germany!
There are two videos currently, which can be found on youtube when searching for 'biiru waza'. I have a domain for it, called www.biiruwaza.com, but I have not yet put energy into updating and creating the site.
There are indeed many biiru waza techniques! The basics are the following:
* Remember to center the bottle in front of you in every aspect of the technique, so no beer goes wasted.
* There are two elements to biiru waza. Biiru nage, the element of taking a beer, and biiru dori, the element of defending your beer.
* If possible, a biiru waza technique is executed in such a manner that you manage to take a sip out of the bottle while doing the technique.
Here are some possible techniques we have so far experimented with.
* Rokkyo, do a big movement, and take the sip out of the bottle in the start of the technique, or else the bottle ends too far away or too far down. Works both for biiru nage and dori.
* Nikkyo, use the bottle to apply pressure to ukes wrist, she/he needs to hold very high up on the bottle for this to work. Works both for biiru nage and dori.
* Shihonage, remember to be centered while doing it. Works both for biiru nage and dori.
* Iriminage, very practical to end a demonstration with, where uke counters the technique and makes nage drink his beer. Works best for (a failed) biiru nage.
* Sankyo, enter under ukes arm and twist around to achieve the sankyo. Drink while going under the arm. Works best for biiru nage.
* Koshinage, you have to change the beer into your other hand, the one uke is not using to stabilize his fall with, after you have taken the sip from the bottle. Works best for biiru nage (I think...!)
* Nindori shihonage, with two ukes, with one bottle each, you have to make sure the ukes are aligned right and have the beers in correct hands. Works best for biiru nage :D
There are some more, but they're rather harder to explain in text. In the future we will create some instructional videos :)
Yes! I have trained mostly at NY-Aikikai with Yamada 8 dan, Sugano 8 dan, Harvey Konigsburg 7 dan, Donovan Waite 7 dan shihans etc. 4-6 classes a day. Good people. Good aikido. Uchi-deshi, Can't go wrong. There are other places to, also worth visits (I have only visited Aikido of Manhattan-Chiba style-and Bond St. Dojo-now affiliated with Saotome's Aikido school of Ueshiba).
Go see a play on (or off) Broadway.
Eat! (South Indian, Ethiopian and Korean are a couple of my favorites).
Walk. NYC should be experienced walking.
There are some great museums that one should pay a visit (or two) to: Guggenheim-some great exhibition, but really the building alone makes it worth it; Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met)-"The Louvre" in NYC with some great Egyptian, Asian and Mesopotamian permanent exhibitions (just to name a few); MoMA (Museum of Modern Art)-Great stuff.
Central Park. Do I need to say more?
That sounds nasty. I hope it mends well! Its three months until the seminar so there must be a good chance for you coming over, I hope. Still no sunshine here, where did we go wrong :-)
